Musicians Network Vision Day 2017
Our Annual Musicians Network Vision Day will be on Saturday 2nd September. We'd love to see as many of you as possible on the day, so do let me know if you can come along if you haven't already.
It is looking promising that Nigel Swinford will be able to join us as our guest speaker
Here are the details for the day:
The event will be held at The 'Musicians Church' (St Sepulchre Without Newgate), Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2DQ. St Sepulchres is an HTB Church Plant in the City of London.
There is no parking at the church, so please plan to come by public transport if at all possible. There are car parks 5 mins walk away for those who need to transport larger instruments (you could drop the instruments off at the church before parking). Information about tube, bus and car park facilities are available at http://stsepulchres.org/about/where-are-we/.
As on previous days, we will have a variety of worship - also plenty of time for fellowship and sharing ideas as well as to pray for each other.
If you would like to lead some worship or have something that you'd like to share on the day, please let me know.
Here's a basic outline of the day:
10.30 Gather for coffee/tea/fellowship
11.20 A talk with Nigel Swinford and opportunity to share together in groups.
2.15 Worship and opportunities to improvise, sharing of stories and initiatives and prayer for each other.
We end the day by 4.30pm
Tea/coffee/biscuits will be available throughout the day, but please bring your own food for lunch (or use local takeaways). Please also bring instruments.
If you have anything you'd like to share with us, there will be opportunity for that in the afternoon - and we'd love to pray for you where appropriate.
Also to let you know that donations will be invited towards the cost of the day and to give a ministry gift to Nigel.
These Vision Days are always very encouraging so please do invite others to come along. It would be great to have some music college students, church musicians and other artists with us. Please send the word out - and get people to drop me a quick email if they can come along.
